TikTok live: System Earth

System Erde

How did the Earth develop into the blue planet worth protecting on which we live today? Live on TikTok, museum guide Jan Eduard Augener invites you to a guided tour through our Dinosaur Hall and the System Earth exhibition.

Digital guided tour

In this digital guided tour on our TikTok channel, we address the complex interrelationships between animate and inanimate nature.

A large number of non-biological factors influenced today's biodiversity, but also caused the extinction of entire animal groups in the history of the earth. The formation of mountains and continents drifting apart, for example, separated previously coexisting populations. Meteor impacts caused a worldwide extinction event, volcanic eruptions created new habitats for animals and plants.
