Starting with natural selection, a theory first put forward by Sarah's great-great-grandfather Charles Darwin and his colleague Alfred Russel Wallace, through to the emergence of the first bacteria and the development of modern man, you'll find all the information you could wish for on the subject of evolution.
The authors:
Sarah Darwin studied art and natural sciences. Her speciality is botany. Her great-great-grandfather is Charles Darwin. The relationship between man and nature is particularly close to her heart. She lives and researches in Berlin.
Eva-Maria Sadowski is a palaeobotanist, i.e. she researches plants that lived a very long time ago. She is mainly interested in plant remains that are encased in amber. She lives and researches in Berlin.
