Digital Transcription Workshop in April until June

Transfer historical documents from the museum archives into today's writing and be part of our digitization process. In the transcription workshop of the Historical Division, a small committed group transcribes historical documents from the museum's collection once a week.

Normally the workshop takes place in the rooms of the Experimental Field. But we don't want to be kept from our work and have decided to create a digital transcription room. The texts in Sütterlin and Kurrent will be made available as digital copies. After a first introduction you will be able to access the documents and translate them independently. Once a week there is the opportunity to ask questions, collect suggestions and exchange ideas during a consultation hour.

The workshop will be in German.
